可測関数と単関数

Definition 可測関数

Let $$ f:\mathbb{R}^d \longrightarrow \mathbb{R} \cup \{\infty\} $$ if $f$ fills the following
$\forall a \in \mathbb{R}, E=\{x|f(x) > a\}$ is 可測集合
then $f$ is called 可測関数.
以後特に断らない限り関数$f$の定義域、地域はそれぞれ
定義域:$\mathbb{R}^d$
地域:$\mathbb{R} \cup \{\infty\}$
とする.

Theorem 可測関数の同値条件

Statement

以下は同値である
(1) $f$は可測関数である.すなわち $\forall a \in \mathbb{R}, \{x|f(x) \gt a\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
(2) $\forall a \in \mathbb{R}, \{x|f(x) \ge a\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
(3) $\forall a \in \mathbb{R}, \{x|f(x) \lt a\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
(4) $\forall a \in \mathbb{R}, \{x|f(x) \le a\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$

Proof

(1) $\Rightarrow$ (2)
$\{x|f(x) \ge a\} = \bigcap_{n=1}^\infty \{x|f(x) \gt a - \frac{1}{n}\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
(2) $\Rightarrow$ (3)
$\{x|f(x) \lt a\} = \{x|f(x) \ge a\}^c \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
(3) $\Rightarrow$ (4)
$\{x|f(x) \le a\} = \bigcap_{n=1}^\infty \{x|f(x) \lt a + \frac{1}{n}\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
(4) $\Rightarrow$ (1)
$\{x|f(x) \gt a\} = \{x|f(x) \le a \}^c \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$

Proposition

Statement

$f$ :可測関数 $\Rightarrow \{x|f(x) = a\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$

Proof

easy

Theorem

Statement

$f$ :可則 $\Leftrightarrow (\forall O \in \mathcal{O} \Rightarrow f^{-1}(O) \in \mathcal{M})$

Proof

($\Leftarrow$)
$O = (a, \infty)$ とすると $f^{-1}(a,\infty) = \{x|f(x) \gt a\} \in \mathcal{M}$
となり可則の定義そのものとなる.
($\Rightarrow$)
$O = (a, b)$ とすると $$ f^{-1}(O) = \{x| a \lt f(x) \} \cap \{x| f(x) \lt b \} $$ となり
$\{x| a \lt f(x) \} \in \mathcal{M}$, $\{x| f(x) \lt b \}\in \mathcal{M}$
より $$ f^{-1}(O) \in \mathcal{M} $$ また、任意の開集合$O$は開区間の和で $$ O = \cup_{i=1}^{\infty} (a_i, b_i) $$ のように表せる $$ \therefore f^{-1}(O) = f^{-1}(\cup_{i=1}^{\infty} (a_i, b_i)) = \cup_{i=1}^{\infty} f^{-1}( (a_i, b_i) ) \in \mathcal{M} $$

a.e. で同じ値の関数

Statement

$f$ is 可則関数
$f(x) = g(x) \quad a.e.$
then
$g$ is 可則関数

Proof

Let $N = \{x| f(x) \ne g(x)\}$
$$ \{x|g(x) \gt a\} = (\{ x|g(x) \gt a \} - N) \cup (\{ x|g(x) \gt a \} \cap N) \\ = (\{ x|f(x) \gt a \} - N) \cup (\{ x|g(x) \gt a \} \cap N) $$ $N \in \mathcal{M}$
$\{ x|f(x) \gt a \} \in \mathcal{M}$
$m((\{ x|g(x) \gt a \} \cap N)) \le m(N) = 0$
$\therefore (\{ x|g(x) \gt a \} \cap N) \in \mathcal{M}$ $$ \therefore \{x|g(x) \gt a\} \in \mathcal{M} $$

合成関数と可則関数

Statement

$\varphi:\mathbb{R}^2 \rightarrow \mathbb{R}$ (連続関数)
$f,g:$ 有限可測関数
$\exists M \in \mathbb{R} \quad s.t. \quad f,g \lt M \quad a.e.$
then
$\varphi(f(x),g(x))$ も可測.

Proof

$\varphi$:連続より,$\{(s,t)|\varphi(s,t) \gt a\}$ は開集合
開集合は交わらない右半開区間の和で表すことができる.
従って $$ \{x|\varphi(f(x),g(x)) \gt a\} = \cup_{i=1}^\infty \{x| (f(x),g(x)) \in [a_i,b_i)\times [c_i,d_i)\}\\ = \cup_{i=1}^\infty \{x| a_i \le f(x) \lt b_i\} \cap \{x|c_i \le g(x) \lt d_i\}\\ \in \mathcal{M} $$

Definition 単関数

値を有限個しか持たない関数を単関数と呼ぶ.
単関数 $s$ は以下のとおり表現できる.
$s(x) = \sum_{j=1}^k a_j \chi_{E_j}(x) \quad (a_j \in \mathbb{R}), (j\neq i \Rightarrow a_j \neq a_i, E_i \cap E_j = \emptyset)$

Proposition

Statement

単関数
$s(x) = \sum_{j=1}^k a_j \chi_{E_j}(x) \quad (a_j \in \mathbb{R}), (j\neq i \Rightarrow a_j \neq a_i, E_i \cap E_j = \emptyset)$
が可測関数
$\Leftrightarrow \forall j, E_j \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$

Proof

$\{x|s(x) \gt a\} = \bigcup_{a_j \gt a} E_j$ および
$E_i \cap E_j = \emptyset \quad (i \neq j)$
より明らか.

Theorem

Let $f$ is 可測, $0 \le f(x) \le \infty$
then $\exists \{s_j|\text{可測単関数}\}$ fills bellows
(i) $\forall x, 0 \le s_1(x) \le s_2(x) \le \cdots \longrightarrow f(x)$
(ii) $\forall j \in \mathbb{N},\exists M_j < \infty, s_j(x) \lt M_j, m(\{x|s_j(x)\neq 0\}) \lt \infty$

Proof

$s_j(x)$ を以下のとおり定義する.
* $s_j(x) = 0 \quad (|x| \gt j)$
* $s_j(x) = j \quad (|x| \le j, f(x) \ge j)$
* $s_j(x) = 2^{-j}(k-1) \quad (|x| \le j, 2^{-j}(k-1) \le f(x) \lt 2^{-j}\cdot k, \quad (k = 1,2,\dots , j \cdot 2^j))$
(ii)の証明
* $\forall j, s_j(x) \lt j + 1$

* $s_j(x)$ が単関数であることは定義より明らか.
* $E_a = \{x|s_j(x) = a\}$ とおき,
$E_a \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d) \quad (\forall a \in \mathbb{R}^d)$ を示す.
$a = 0$ の時, $E = \{x| |x| \gt j\} \in \mathcal{M}(\mathbb{R}^d)$
$a = j$ の時, $E = \{x| |x| \le j\} \cap \{x|f(x) \ge j\}$
$a = 2^{-j}\cdot (k - 1)$ の時, $E = \{x| |x| \le j\} \cap \{x| 2^{-j} \cdot (k-1) \le f(x)\} \cap \{x|f(x) \lt 2^{-j} \cdot k\}$
$a$ が上記以外の時, $E = \emptyset$
以上より$s_j(x)$ は可測. * $i \lt j \Rightarrow s_i(x) \lt s_j(x)$ は明らか.
* $f(x) \lt \infty$ の場合、十分大きな$j$ を取れば、$|x| \lt j, f(x) \lt j$ となるので $f(x) - s_j(x) < 2^{-j} \rightarrow 0 \quad (j \rightarrow \infty)$
* $f(x) = \infty$ の場合、$s_j(x) = j \rightarrow \infty$ だから
$\therefore f(x) = s_j(x) \quad (j \rightarrow \infty)$ $$ \therefore \lim_{j \rightarrow \infty} s_j(x) = f(x) $$
